Why traditional acupuncture may hold the key to easing chronic neck pain

A recent article in the Mail on Sunday (13 March 2016), outlined a study by Dr Hugh MacPherson at the University of York into the effectiveness of Acupuncture, and The Alexander Technique alongside conventional treatments. Patients were split in to 3 groups, Acupuncture, Alexander Technique and normal GP treatment(both the acupuncture group and Alexander Technique groups ran with GP treatment as well). The study showed a statistically significant reduction of pain in both Acupuncture and Alexander Technique with GP treatments against GP treatment alone. For more information follow this link
